Use a Splash Fruit to free it, then use Ultrahand to pick it up and move it. Climb up the rocks to find The Broken Slate covered in sludge. As you head outside, turn left and look slightly up. Head just outside of the cave where you speak to Jiahto to find The Broken Slate he speaks of. Speaking to Jiahto, this will start The Broken Slate, which is an additional main quest that forms part of the Sidon of the Zora questline. Speak to Dunma first, then Jiahto, who you want to speak to, can be found inside the cave. Upon arrival, you might spot Dunma standing on top of a platform to the left. This is exactly where Toto Lake is, so glide down and climb the short distance across the mountain until you reach the lake. You'll see a Skyview Tower and shrine off in the distance, but to the left, there will be a sludge waterfall flowing up to the sky. Go to the northwest edge of the mountain (behind the Ihen-A Shrine) and look out. Line it up carefully and use Recall on your missed shots to get it just right.To begin Sidon of the Zora you'll have to complete The Sludge-Covered Statue and we'd also recommend completing Restoring the Zora Armor before setting off. You can use the same platforms and stone launchers to reach it.īut you’ll actually need to fire a stone cube from the top launcher INTO the sphere to reach the chest. ![]() Note that the Zonaite Shin Guards piece of Armor is in the sphere high above Sky Mine. A Ruby is inside the chest in the shrine. If you screw up, it will respawn in the same place or you can reload your save.Ĭarry the green crystal to the shrine pad to complete The Sky Mine Crystal Shrine Quest. Release Ultrahand and it will plummet straight down and bounce perfectly vertically and you can glide down to it. To aim it right, use Ultrahand to lift it out and just to the right of the small island off the edge. To get the green crystal to its “home” you can safely drop it to the island below. Launch into the sky and land on the northeast island.ĭo the same here but turn the next wheel and stone launcher to the southeast.įrom here you can float to the small, rocky island with the green crystal. They can be positioned with the rotating wheel. Activate this and it will activate a series of vertically-aimed launchers around you that lead up to higher islands. To do so, look for a circle with a glowing green pad to the southwest of the shrine. To reach this island and retrieve the green crystal is easier than it might initially seem: You need to get up there, then simply drop the green crystal to the shrine island. It is high above on an island full of rocks you can mine. This will begin The Sky Mine Crystal Shrine Quest.Īctivating the Gikaku shrine pad will trigger the The Sky Mine Crystal Shrine Quest which asks you to return a green crystal to the shrine pad. Activate the shrine pad so you can fast travel here. You should easily gain enough distance and height with two batteries and three fans to reach the island with the Gikaku Shrine platform. Pilot up and towards the nearest northeastern island. To get started you’ll need to use Ultrahand to move the plane into the air, and then safely back to the ground on the northeaster edge of the peninsula, then get on the wing, use Recall to lift you up and over into the air.ĭeactivate recall and hop on the Controller. To reach it, you’ll need three Fans, a Wing, a Controller, and two Batteries. There are Zonai device parts here, but not nearly enough to get you to the northeast islands and Gikaku Shrine. Starting from Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower, launch into the air and look for a small island with a circular pool and a tower on it.
